Role Description

We are looking for a full-time remote DevOps Engineer on a contractor agreement. As a DevOps Engineer, you will implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux. You will manage and maintain our trading systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills are essential as you work closely with development, operations, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop, coordinate, and administer K8s infrastructure.
Automate deployments and infrastructure as code.
Build and implement new development tools and infrastructure.
Improve development and release processes through automation.
Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes.
Assist developers in building and deploying their software.
Deploy updates and fixes, and provide Level 2 technical support.
Build tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
Install, configure, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain UNIX-like operating systems.
Ensure network and network services are running smoothly.
Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Monitor and test network performance and provide reports.
Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements/upgrades on our network and infrastructure.
Research new and better ways to automate and organize team activity.


Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Available to work after hours or during weekends for scheduled operations and unforeseen issues.

Clear understanding of how networks and network server software work.

Experience with high availability systems and proxies.

Experience with GNU/Linux or UNIX-based infrastructure.

Experience with container technologies like Docker, Podman, Compose, Kubernetes, Longhorn.

Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.

Experience with database systems like MariaDB, MySQL, SQLite.

Good knowledge of C/C++ and Python.

Good knowledge of cryptography.

Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit.

Optional: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Java, web development experience.

Troubleshooting capabilities.

Ability to work independently and detail-oriented.

Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

At least 1 year in a DevOps position with similar responsibilities.
