The Data Entry Clerk will work from home, This is a full-time position that supports the Workforce and Education Department with a variety of administrative, secretarial, and receptionist tasks. This position reports directly to the Director of Workforce and Education. This is an entry-level position. Lived experience with a passion and commitment to social justice reform preferred.

Essential Job Functions

  • Performs a variety of administrative, secretarial, and receptionist tasks for the project including, but not limited to, arranging itineraries, preparing agendas, and meeting minutes, arranging meetings, and composing correspondence and memos.
  • Establishes and maintains files and records, including clinical or other confidential materials.
  • Assist with compiling and arranging members files and documenting paperwork.
  • Receives, screens, and routes visitors, correspondence, and telephone calls.
  • May attend committees or other meetings.
  • Maintain meeting minutes and action items.
  • May assist in research compilation and organization of statistical and narrative data for reports and proposals.
  • Maintains general filing systems.
  • Coordinate routine data entry of administrative information, which may include general faculty (staff) records and training.
  • Manage the logistics of routine in-service training.
  • Attend workshops, meetings, and training as requested by the supervisor.
  • Maintain logs: Drug testing, vehicle, site inspections, unit inspections, curfew, etc.
  • Provide transportation to members on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide back-up individual support to members when requested by supervisor.
  • Document group notes and attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Possess good interpersonal, written, communication, and typing skills.
  • Ability to develop rapport with criminal justice and substance-abusing populations.
  • Ability to apply organizational management skills and documentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain required documentation.
  • Ability to demonstrate cultural humility, competency, and sensitivity.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Pay rate is $20.00-$27. 10doe.
