How often will you run updates on my site?

I check for updates to your plugins and themes on a regular basis (Almost everyday). This is important because plugins and themes can also contain security vulnerabilities. I will run updates on your WordPress once we detect any security issues. This is a frequency that is recommended by many security experts and WordPress developers. It is often enough to catch security updates and bug fixes, but not so often that it is likely to cause problems with your site.

In addition to running updates, I will also monitor your site for security threats. If I detect any problems, I will notify you immediately so that you can take corrective action.

I understand that you may have concerns about running updates on your WordPress site. However, it is important to remember that updates are essential for keeping your site secure and up-to-date. I will do everything I can to make the update process as smooth and painless as possible.

  • Premium Firewall: Your website will have Patchstack’s advanced firewall installed (we are using the developer plan)
  • Security: This includes keeping your WordPress core, plugins, and themes up to date with the latest security patches. 
  • Backups: Daily backups of your website are essential in case of data loss or corruption. A WordPress care plan will typically include daily backups, which can be restored quickly and easily in case of an emergency.
  • Monitoring: Your website will be monitored 24/7 for security threats, and other problems.
  • Support: You will have access to support from a team of experienced WordPress developers and designers. This support can be used to answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and make changes to your website related to our care plans.
  • If, after performing a WordPress core, WordPress plugin, or WordPress theme update, it is determined that one or more updates caused issues with the overall functionality of the site, a “rollback” of the site to its state prior to the update will be performed using the most recent backup of the site. We will then contact you to discuss options for resolving the issue.

What’s NOT included?

The specific services that are not included in a WordPress care plan will vary depending on the provider, but here are some of the most common exclusions:

  • Custom development: If you need custom development work done on your website, this will likely not be included in your WordPress care plan. This is because custom development can be time-consuming and expensive, and it is not something that is typically covered by a standard care plan.
  • Changes to your website: If you need to make changes to your website, such as a redesign or a content overhaul, this will likely not be covered by your WordPress care plan. This is because major changes can be disruptive and time-consuming, and they may require additional expertise and resources.

  • Website Restoration, Malware cleanup, Bug Fixes and Backup Restoration are billed separately.
  • Other services: If changes or updates lead to problems with the overall functionality of the website, any remedial work required will be discussed with you in advance. Jobs expected to take more than a few minutes will be billed separately at your discounted hourly rate.

What if I have multiple sites to manage?

Whether you run 1 or 10 sites, our experts can manage your sites for you. Our WordPress Care plans cover websites, domains, subdomains. If you have multiple WordPress sites, then you will need to choose a different plan for each site based on the needs of each site.

What if an update breaks my site?

Don’t worry! Our team of WP experts will fix the issue, or roll it back to a previous version of the site.

Is there a monthly or annual contract?

No contract, you can cancel your monthly WordPress care plans anytime.

What’s the next step after subscribing to a Jorcus WordPress Care plan?

After subscribing to any of our plans, you will receive an invoice via the email ID you provided. Then, you can share the credentials when by contacting us via [email protected].

Within 24-48 hours, our team of experts will begin a review of your site and share with you our suggestions for improvement.
