The moment you build projects, you will get to know your level. If you are great at it, you will finish beginner project with little stress. If you are stress with it, it’s a chance that you can practice your skills and improve it.

Portfolios help to stand out from competitors, especially when you’ve built a project that solved very difficult problems. If you have a strong portfolio, you are more likely to be hired by the company.

Learn Difference Implementation

Most of the time, there are many difference ways to achieve the same thing, even though it’s a simple project. When you’ve completed a project and you think that is the best implementation to build that project. Then, you search around at Google and you found there are even simpler implementation than yours. Then you learned from them.

Strong Portfolio

Quantity doesn’t matter, but quality is important. Have completed a massive amount of project doesn’t mean you have a strong portfolio. A strong portfolio doesn’t require a huge amount of completed projects. But, you will need to have at least 3 to 5 immediate level projects or even harder than that to stand out. Having 3 – 5 project with expert level will seriously give you a strong portfolio rather than having 30 – 50 simple projects.

It’s all depend how you are familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. A beginner level of project might take a few hours or less. However, for some people might take days.
